Dear Everyone,

Hello!

Thank you very much for checking out our site and sending your cheers to us on and off the net. We appreciate your keen attention and earnest supports to our studio as always.

Today we would like to inform you of our new project.

This is a television series which consists of thirteen episodes and its title is, "CYBERSIX."

The title comes from the name of this beautiful heroine of this show.

Cybersix is one of the "Cyber-series" beings created by a crazed scientist named Von Reichter.

When Cybersix is about to be destroyed by Von Reichter, her own creator who detests this "failed" series for their overly well-made humanity against his plans, she manages to escape from his hands and survives all by herself out in the city of Meridiana.

On the way of her runaway, she gains a dual identity as a Mr. Adrian Seidelman.

Ever since then, she plays the role of Adrian Seidelman, a high school literature teacher during the day to deceive the eyes of Von Reichter, but at night, she turns Cybersix to protect the good minds from the evil.

The story begins when Adrian arrives at Meridiana High School as a new teacher to meet Lucas Amato, his fellow teacher of biology at the school.

Adrian (whose true identity is Cybersix) learns that this seemingly rough and gorilla-like fellow is actually a gentle, considerate, and sensitive person; they soon make good friends.

One night, Lucas walks down the street to witness Cybersix battling against a "Fixed Idea", one of the other series which Von Reichter created in his lab.

Lucas is astonished and fascinated by the beauty and super-human abilities of Cybersix as she leaps from building to building all dressed up in black with cape of the same color. In addition, the bulk of the monstrous man (a Fixed Idea) who lies on the street instantly vaporizes at the sight of the battle in front of Lucas.

Lucas, a scientist whose speciality is biology, just can't believe what he has seen with his own eyes. After the body vanishes, he finds this little container (a vial) filled with some glowing green liquid ("sustenance") left where the body was lying a minute ago....

@

This is the beginning of the story, and it comes to you as a thrillingly animated action TV series with the basis of science fiction underneath.

What we would like to share with you through this show is experiencing the process of how Cybersix (who was born to be a clone made from a biogenetic experiment) overcomes her fears and various emotional burdens, begins to communicate with Lucas as well as Julian (a Meridianan boy who makes good friends with Cybersix), and finally learns to cherish her love for them; as though they were a real family.

We will find that sometimes even the villains, who are sent to assassinate her, eventually regain their humanity for her philanthropy.

She knows that she is not a human; even so, or moreover because of her awareness, she wishes she could live like an ordinary human in peace and happiness.

Will she come to secure exactly the same feeling of love as human beings, while she cannot live without taking in the "sustenance"?

Right now*, the series is being recorded in Vancouver, BC, with Canada's talented voice actors and actresses under the supervision of TMS and NOA, Network Of Animation. We will honorably have Robbi Finkel for our music composer; he is a skilled musician who took part in "Allegria" as well.

He lives and works in Montreal, and will be composing the music for our series after the footage is brought to him in August 1998 or around, which is just like how the soundtracks of feature films are done.

And of course, the picture of the series is animated entirely by Telecom Animation Film (TMS Mitaka Studio); all stages after Ink & Paint are processed with computers.

The original work is from the popular comic book of the same title by Trillo & Meglia, Argentina's brilliant cartoonists/artists. The scripts for this TV series are co-produced by TMS & NOA. As you can see, this is something we have never had before both in terms of the heterogeneous combination of the crew as well as its large-scale production for a TV series which makes CYBERSIX a show you can never miss.

Here on this homepage, we will be bringing you information including the story and the characters of the show, staff members, production news and so forth. Please keep your eyes on our page.

Thank you.

*Translator's Note: The original Greetings in Japanese was written in May, 1998.
